Lori-Deanna Lewis knows about your working dog weekend for the upcoming
gavel report that the OAGDU NFBO division submits to our awards committee.
It is, of course, a noteworthy contribution, but, in addition to delineating
the events that occurred during the weekend, we would also like to know any
level of education of other participants that you might have brought to the
weekend on behalf of the NFB or positive, successful blindness philosophy
and independence on your part. Might you be able to share such an effort
with me for submission for the gavel report, or, was the weekend merely an
exchange of fun for all?

Thank you,

Subject: [Oagdu] Finally moving

Hi all,

I just wanted to let everyone know that were finally moving on Friday
September 25th to my grandmother's house (my new house). I'm very excited
about it for the simple reason is I won't have to live in an apartment
anymore with restrictions and rules to follow. There will be no more
stepping in someone else's dog poop and I don't have to worry about the lawn
company True Green coming out and spraying chemicals on the lawn which is
toxic to our guides.

It will be nice to have my own house with a huge fenced in back yard for my
guide Gipp and my pet Chihuahua dog Little Girl to play in. It's a nice
neighborhood and it's a pretty quiet area. Plus we can keep my
grandmother's house in the family by Rick and I living there and the best
part is that I can have Gipp my guide dog, my pet Chihuahua dog Little Girl
and my cat living there with no worries restrictions etc. Take care.

Lori and the Gipper
