Treasurers: 343.75 (no change)

Treasurers report accepted.

Committee reports:
Legislation: representative has been contacted and shown the legislation but it has not gone further than that. we need to find a sponsor for the legislation.

Education: nothing to report

Gavel:
Deanna did another presentation to first graders
Aleeha gave a presentation to some 3 to 5 year olds at a monitory school about blindness and guide dogs (when and when not to pet)

Fundraising:
Deanna was supposed to send information for Rada cutlery out by march first, but things get forgotten. that will get on the list this week on the ohio talk list.
Details for how to specifically give our specific code to friends and family will all be explained in the email that Deanna will be sending out.

Denver Jones talked about an event for the diabetes action network:
Has been working with green county health to host a public health fair in green county at the public library. Freedom scientific demonstration, O and M instructor, VRP demonstrate assistive technology
podiatrist
Next Step to help get shoes for diabetics and help coordinate with insurance.
Police officer will do public safety presentations and self-defense for blind people.

door prizes going on, freedom scientific has donated has donated two versions of magic.
3 day, 2 night stay in Clark County (do not need to be present to win)
Possibly do some chapter building.

lunch will be provided for the people who volunteer.
pop corn and snacks will be available

March 26, from 10 am to 3 pm.
Deanna offered to bring literature and man a table
Deanna and possibly LuAnn will be the massage therapists at the event.
Transportation: a car with room for 2 people and 2 dogs will be available from Cincinnati, and one car with room for one person and one dog will be available from Dayton Ohio.
