Hello Fellow Federationists,

On Tuesday, May 9, we have scheduled a day in Columbus to discuss our legislative agenda. The four issues that we will be covering are as follows:

1.  Formation of a State Rehabilitation Council (SRC)

2.  Protection of Parental Rights for the Blind

3.  Persons with Disabilities and Service Dogs

4.  Transportation Budget

The fact sheets will be available shortly for all of you to become familiar with these issues for the presentation to our Representatives and Senators.
We plan to start promptly at 9:00 AM and visit as many offices as humanly possible. There is a lot of ground to cover, so your participation is greatly needed and appreciated. We will put teams together, just as we do for Washington Seminar, and you will get to meet with the Representatives from your own district. This is hard work, but, at the same time, some of the most rewarding work you will do in the NFB. You have the opportunity to change history, and make a difference in the lives of not only blind people living in the state of Ohio, but people of all disabilities.
