[Oagdu] Important Fundraiser info!

Hi all,
Make sure you guys spread the word about this, and start selling tickets!  It's simple, just write the person's name and phone number on an index card, collect the money, and then send it to me. I will be keeping track of all the proceeds from this fundraiser. Feel free to write the person's name in print or braille. If you need help, I'd be happy to braille the cards for you. We need to really get out there and sell as many raffle tickets as possible. This is an excellent afghan throw and we are so happy that Louise has donated it to help our division. Please do what you can to make this a successful fundraiser.

Fall is here, which means that cooler weather is just around the corner! Imagine yourself curled-up on your couch with a nice braille book, sipping hot-cocoa, and snuggling with your very own hand-made afghan blanket/throw! That's right; the Ohio Association of Guide Dog Users will be raffling off a beautiful hand-crocheted afghan donated by our long-time Federationist, Louise Anderson! The afghan is very nice and soft, the colors are white, black, and gray. It measures approximately 52 inches by 60 inches, so it's the perfect size! It would make an excellent gift for you or a loved one.
Tickets will be $1.00 each, or you can get six tickets for $5.00. The drawing will take place on Sunday, October 29th, during the Dream Convention! You do not need to be present to win. Tickets will be sold throughout Convention and also in the Exhibit Hall at the Oagdu table.  You do not want to miss this!
