Hi all,
I hope that you all are doing well and staying warm and dry this Winter!
I wanted to let you all know that we decided to change the date of our March Oagdu call; we will be meeting a week earlier. The date of our meeting will be on Sunday, March 3 at 7:00 PM Eastern. Please mark it on your calendars now; an email reminder and the call-in information will be sent as it gets closer.
I also wanted to remind you, to please pay your 2019 dues if you have not done so already. Dues are only $5 per year. You can mail your check directly to either myself or Marianne Denning, our Treasurer. Please make your check payable to: Oagdu. If you need our address, please let me know.
I recently found out that the NFB of Ohio Diabetes Action Network has their meetings on the second Sunday of the month at the same time as our meetings. I’m not sure if any of our members would like to attend their meetings as well, or are conflicted on which meeting to attend. They are willing to change the date of their meetings, but I wondered if you all are still satisfied with our meeting dates and time?
Some of our members have admitted that meeting on Sundays is difficult for them to remember by the end of the week. Perhaps at our next meeting, we should discuss the possibility of moving our meeting date. We could have our meetings earlier in the week, on Tuesday or Wednesday evenings. But, Wednesday may not work best for some due to church. I’d like you to give it a bit of thought before our next meeting.
Thank you to all those who sold and/or purchased tickets for our Pampered Chef cookware fundraiser. The winner was Jean Haflinger or Liberty Center, Ohio. Thank you LuAnn Bowers for selling the winning ticket. I will have the total amount of money that was raised at our next meeting.
