Good afternoon Sheri,

                Thanks for confirming those changes. As we discussed in the first IP meeting with both Representatives present, it seems that the bill sponsors would like to move forward with the bill as is. Both Rep. Kelly and Lipps agree that they are not comfortable adding a penalty aspect to the bill and believe that it will potentially make the bill unable to pass. Anna and I both double checked with them today, and it seems they are both still on the same page. Please let me know if your organization would like to move forward with the language as is.

Hello Hannah, as we discussed in our conference call, the last major change that need to be made wise adding the penalty that exists in 955.43 to the discrimination section where all the new changes that were added to the bill.

Good morning Sheri,

                I received your voicemail concerning not hearing back about the service animal bill. As we discussed on 10/7, both Anna and I were out on vacation the week prior. Anna was also out last week and her first day back was yesterday. Additionally, with the announcement of Rep. Lipps as Chair of Health our office has been preoccupied since my return from vacation. I know both Rep. Kelly and Rep. Lipps are both very interested in this bill, you will just have to forgive our delay since Anna and I are both the only staff in our office. 

 

I know we discussed changes during our conference call in September, can you please send over the changes you all would like to LSC to make?
