I have never had any problems with Leader Dogs and have received 5 guide dogs from them but I know other people who say they have had problems. I believe they have some justification to for their issues.
Many people say we are the customers. I don't believe we are the customers. The people and organizations who provide the money are the customers and we and our dogs are the product. I know those words sound harsh and I don't mean it to sound like that. Customers are the people a company must keep happy and that is usually the people who provide the money.

I don't think contracts are signed under duress. You do have ownership when you leave Southeastern. I believe the weight and misstreatment are the only reasons they can take them back. I can remember a time not too long ago when schools were being asked to do more about abuse of these precious animals. I'm not saying that's what happened here. But there are things that don't make sense based on my knowledge of the school.
I don't think assuming one side is right is a good way to start an investigation. We should gather all the facts. Then we can make decisions.
