The application process, home interview, and what to expect after choosing a guide dog training program: A Guide Dog Matters Presentation by the National Association of Guide Dog Users Hosts: Stacie Gallegos, NFB of Texas and Texas Association of Guide Dog Users. Paul Sandoval, Vice President of NAGDU and board member of NFB of Colorado. Guests: Mike Goehering, field rep and Regional Guide Dog Mobility Instructor for Guiding Eyes for the Blind. The following is the recording for the most recent NAGDU Guide Dog Matters presentation held on Sunday, March 21, 2021. * Please note that NAGDU does not endorse one training program over another. * Guide Dog Matters is held on the third Sunday of the month at 3 PM Eastern time and typically lasts for one hour. * People who are interested in presenting or in offering ideas for future presentations should contact Stacie Gallegos, sgallegos at nfbtx.org.
