Hi all.  These are the minutes from the convention.  I'll send them again
when the 2022 convention is closer, but thought it might be helpful to have
them now to look at.

Oagdu Convention minutes
November 6, 2021
People pretent: 
Deanna Lewis President

A synopsis of last year's minutes was read. Last year's treasurery balance 1,696.13. $300 went to money for the movement. $200 was paid to Michael Hingsten as an honorarium. New board member was Asia Quinones-Evans. 

2021 treasurer's report: current balance $1,364.07. Motion was made and seconded to approve the treasurer's report.

Debbie made a motion to send $10 a month for the pac plan with the hope that we can increase that later. Paula Jordan seconded that motion. Motion carried. 

The guest speaker for Sunday's meeting will be Janet, a puppy raiser for Guiding Eyes. Debbie moved to give Janet a donation of $100. If she doesn't want it we will donate it to Guiding Eyes. Asia seconded that motion. Motion passed. 
Obqining cards with the questions that can be asked to validate a service dog was discussed. Clovernook has not been responsive so we will pursue other possibilities to get those cards printed. We would copy the information to Information will be copied directly from the ADA. 

There was some discussion about re-wording the service animal law. A suggestion was made to devote the January chapter meeting to that topic. We will invite Todd Elzey and/or Eric Duffy to" that meeting. Marianne will send Todd a copy of the California law so that he can look at it. 

The December meeting will be the dog Christmas party. The Curig fundraiser is open until December 12th. The winner will be drawn at the dog Christmas party. A motion was made to get two $25 gift cards to be given as door prizes. The winner can choose whether they want an amazon or a chewy card. Motion carried.


Elections: For president LuAnn bowers was elected by acclamation. 
For secretary Paula Jordan was elected by acclamation for a one year term.
Treasurer and vice president remain the same. 
We need to compile all the past minutes and put them into a dropbox folder. 

The January meeting will be on the 9th of January.
