Webinar: Service Animals in Places of Public Accommodation

What are the rights and responsibilities of service animal users in places
of public
accommodation? Are there circumstances under which a business is allowed to
refuse
access to an individual accompanied by a service animal? What is the best
way to resolve
issues that arise because of the choice to use a service animal? What
remedies are
available to those who feel their civil rights have been violated? These
questions and
many more will be answered in an upcoming special webinar.

Advocates for Service Animal Partners (ASAP) will host “Service Animals in
Places of public Accommodation” Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at 1:00 pm and 8:00
p.m.
eastern Daylight Time. This webinar is absolutely free; however, donations
are greatly
appreciated, and reservations are required.

Who Should Attend?
This teleseminar is designed to teach service animal users how to best
protect
their rights and empower them to be effective self-advocates. It is also
meant to help
owners and operators of public accommodations understand their rights and
responsibilities under the law. The goal of this workshop is to encourage
proactive
solutions to the challenges faced by service animal users through effective
education and
accurate information. Reserve your space in this webinar today! Please
complete the
reservation form on our website by Monday, May 15. An email confirmation
with instructions for joining the webinar will be sent to you. Those
without email access or who would like more information may call
386-2727411 (386-ASAP411).

Please note: This webinar will be recorded. Participation in this webinar
implies an
agreement to and authorization for such recording in compliance with state
and federal
laws. The information provided during this teleseminar is intended for
educational
purposes only and should not be construed as legal advice.
