Oagdu minutes
5-8-2022
Meeting was called to order by president LuAnn bowers at 7:05 PM. 

People present: Mary Ann Denning: LuAnn Bowers, Debra Baker, Deanna Lewis: Anette Anderson, Asia Quinone-Evans: Paula Jordan. 

Deanna Lewis moved to approve the minutes as presented: Debbie Baker seconded.
There was no treasurer's report.

Committee Reports: 
Fund raising: Candy bars have been picked up from Cleveland and delivered.  Deanna will deliver candy bars to people in our area if they want them. They will also be sold at the state convention. Deamna was able to access the honey baked website with no difficulty, so we aren't sure what was happening, but it seems to be working now.
 
Gavel committee: Deanna Lewis and Paula Jordan did everybody counts programs in March.
Asia Quinone-Evans hosted a talk about service animals with  a section focusing on guide dogs for the Loraine County Community College. Mary Ann Denning, LuAnn Bowers and Deanna Lewis walked in the flying pig marathon.

 Under old business: Paula Jordan has not heard back from Todd Elzey concerning a request for a letter stating the laws that apply to service animals.
Debra Baker has heard nothing from Pilot Dog OANDM specialist Steve Hoyt concerning his request for an audible signal.
 
Under new business: the ASAP group is offering a seminar addressing rights and responsibilities of service animal owners and businesses. Debra Baker will lead the June meeting since LuAnn will not be available.
Next meeting is scheduled for June 12th. Meeting was adjourned by consensus at 7:37 PM.
