Jesus Is Coming Soon
If we truly believed that Christ was coming soon – it is highly doubtful that we would be living our lives in the same way. We wouldn’t be focused on getting rich, or obtaining material possessions, nor would we be striving for power or fame. We would spend a lot more time loving our friends and family instead of fighting over petty things and holding grudges. If we really believed that it wouldn’t be long until our Savior’s return–our heavenly goal would be our highest priority! But sadly, we go thru the motions of “believing.”  As Christians, we talk about Jesus soon return, and even sing about it–but there doesn’t seem to be any sense of urgency, like we truly believe He “really” is coming! The truth is:  Jesus IS coming again! The Bible says in John 14:3, “And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.” And in 2 Peter 3:10, we’re told, “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.” There is no time to waste–we need to prepare our hearts and lives NOW so we are ready to meet our Lord. Matthew 24:36, tells us, “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.” Make no mistake: Jesus IS coming soon!  Matthew 25:13, Mark 13:32, John 3:16



Bible Texts:
Matthew 25:13 NKJV - "Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming."

Mark 13:32 NKJV - "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."

John 3:16 NKJV - "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
