Sting of Injustice
Most people have felt the sting of injustice at some point in their life. Perhaps they were blamed for something they didn’t do, their character tainted because of evil gossip, falsely accused of committing adultery, or maybe even went to jail for a crime they didn’t commit. It would be difficult to suffer injustice because of something you “did” do but just imagine how much harder it would be to suffer for something you “didn’t” do! But before you start feeling all sorry for yourself for all the times YOU were falsely accused–think of Jesus who suffered because of your sins, and he did so meekly, and lovingly. He bore all the pain and heartache (which He did NOT deserve) willingly and without regret. He loves you so much that He gave His life for you so that you might live in heaven with Him for all eternity! The Bible says in Isaiah 30:18, “The Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for Him!” So the next time you get discouraged, your life seems unfair and you start to get a chip on your shoulder–stop and think of Jesus, your Savior, who took all the pain and injustice inflicted upon Him, without complaint, bitterness or anger but rather in loving silence. Never forget that God understands, cares, and is always there for you! Text; Isaiah 54:17, Proverbs 11:9, Romans 12:19, 1 Peter 3:9

Bible Texts:
Isaiah 54:17 NKJV - "No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their righteousness is from Me," Says the LORD."

Proverbs 11:9 NKJV - "The hypocrite with his mouth destroys his neighbor, But through knowledge the righteous will be delivered."

Romans 12:19 NKJV - "Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, "Vengeance is Mine, I will repay," says the Lord."

1 Peter 3:9 NKJV - "not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing."
