Life With No Goodbyes
Having to say goodbye to friends or family can be downright heart-wrenching, whether or not it’s watching your little one leave for school that first day or going to college, there’s a bit of sadness knowing your life will never be quite the same. Parting after a family reunion leaves you with a knot in the pit of your stomach, or watching your loved one disappear behind the security line at the airport, brings tears, as you realize it may be a long time before you see them again. But the pain of being separated by death–is the worst goodbye of all! Knowing you will never hear the sound of their sweet voice, or the gentleness of their touch, seems too painful a burden to bear. But don’t despair–because the good news is, Jesus is coming again soon to take all those who have surrendered their hearts and lives to Him, to live with Him in heaven forever. The Bible says in Revelation 21:4, “There will be no more death or mourning, or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” Oh what a glorious day that will be! Just imagine a life with no “goodbyes,” tears, sadness or pain–but each day will be more wonderful than the day before! Text: Isaiah 35:10, 1 Corinthians 15: 52-54, Lamentations 3:21-24, Philippians 3:20-21

Bible Texts:
Isaiah 35:10 NKJV - And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, And come to Zion with singing, With everlasting joy on their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness, And sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

1 Corinthians 15:52-54 NKJV - in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: "Death is swallowed up in victory."

Lamentations 3:21-24 NKJV - This I recall to my mind, Therefore I have hope. Through the LORD's mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. "The LORD is my portion," says my soul, "Therefore I hope in Him!"

Philippians 3:20-21 NKJV - For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.
