Not Everyone is Going to Heaven
It’s been said over and over again–“I’m a good person, and as long as I don’t break any laws, I’m going to heaven.” But that is not what the Bible says in Matthew 7:21, where we’re told; “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.” You see, it’s not about “being a good person” but rather “loving God and believing in Him.” The Bible even takes it one step further and says in John 14:15, “If you love me, keep my commandments.” God wants us to not only love and believe in Him, but to also “obey” Him by keeping His commandments. There’s a beautiful promise in this favorite scripture found in John 3:16–“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him, shall not perish but have everlasting life.” We need to stop fooling ourselves into thinking we can merrily go through life, just being a “good person,” and not worrying about salvation–because if we do–we will miss out on eternity with our Lord and Savior! Make no mistake–not everyone is going to heaven–only those who love and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and keep His commandments–have a ticket to heaven!! Text: John 11:25-26, 1 John 3:2-3, Acts 16:31, Isaiah 50:10

Bible Texts:
John 11:25-26 NKJV - Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. "And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?"

1 John 3:2-3 NKJV - Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.

Acts 16:31 NKJV - So they said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household."

Isaiah 50:10 NKJV - "Who among you fears the LORD? Who obeys the voice of His Servant? Who walks in darkness And has no light? Let him trust in the name of the LORD And rely upon his God.
