Luke 22:63—23:43

Luke presents the events of Jesus’ crucifixion from a historical and legal perspective, showing that the trial of Jesus was one of the most unfair trials in history. Nevertheless, Jesus humbled Himself and gave Himself willingly for our sin. Witness Jesus’ death as it fulfilled the Law, proved science, and broke the bonds of religion. The book of Numbers (meaning “arithmetic”) gets its name from the three times God told Moses to take a census of the children of Israel. As we study, remember every number has a name, every name has a story, and every story matters to God.

Get to know God in Numbers as the God who keeps His promises.
