Greetings Ohio Communities of Faith, the board of directors would like to thank each and everyone who has contributed to our listserv. We appreciate the Scriptures, devotions, praises, prayers articles that support and encourage members as well as our non-members on their journey of faith as blind individuals.
We’re asking that you stay mindful of everyone’s religion and religious affiliation and/or preferences. We are not here to recruit nor are we trying to convert any particular religion or religious affiliation. We are here to learn, to educate and gain a better understanding and respect for one another’s preferences. If you feel led to share something that is controversial, and that disrespects one religion against another, that is not what we desire on our listserv. If there is something questionable that you favor, we suggest strongly that you provide a link and members can read if they desire or they can delete any material that they do not wish to adhere to. Remember we are here to encourage and support one another also we are here too encourage membership in our division not to discourage membership and the listserv is a valuable tool for us to share needed information. As we grow we will find many challenges before us and we must stay focused to meet the needs of all as best we can.

The Ohio communities of Faith mailing list for the NFB net.org reads as follows:

The purpose of the list is to encourage and support blind members in pursuit of their religious calling, through devotions, prayers, praises, encouragement and support, and articles, other resources,in The furtherance of The goals of The National Federation Of The Blind..

The moderator at the mailing list, is Reverend Dr. Carolyn Peters, president.
