Refresh, Reboot, Restart
When your heart is heavy, when you’re weary, discouraged, and feel all alone, it’s time for some inner soul-searching and prayer. In other words, time to refresh, reboot, and restart. Begin your reboot by reading Matthew 11:28-30 and accept God’s invitation to “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Choose a quiet place where you can be alone with God. Share with Him all your worries, cares, and concerns, and then ask Him to take control of each one. Don’t forget to pray, “Thy will be done,” and then ask God to fill your heart with joy! The next step is critically important  . . .  and that is to truly trust God to do what’s best. Don’t try and tell God what to do! Remember, His plan is always the BEST plan! When you get off your knees, don’t try and pick up those heavy burdens again! Instead, walk away with a heart full of joy knowing that God is in control! The Bible says in Psalm 55:22, “Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you.” So, time to push the restart button and trade in your heavy heart for a new heart singing praises to God . . . all day long! Text: Isaiah 41:13, 1 Peter 5:6-7, Psalm 34:17, Isaiah 46:4

Isaiah 41:13 NKJV - "For I, the LORD your God, will hold your right hand, Saying to you, 'Fear not, I will help you.'" 

1 Peter 5:6-7 NKJV - "Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you." 

Psalm 34:17 NKJV - "The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles." 

Isaiah 46:4 NKJV - "Even to your old age, I am He, And even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; Even I will carry, and will deliver you."
