October is Blindness Awareness Month, a time to increase awareness of the
challenges those in the blind and visual impaired community face. At Social
Security, we are committed to continuously improving our tools and resources
so all our customers can access our programs and services.

Recently, we installed new American with Disabilities Act compliant kiosks
in our local offices
