Here is a great opportunity to be in the room.

Cleveland, if you would like to attend, email me outside of this thread.

I have to give them an account of how many of us will attend.

Dear Community Leader,

You are cordially invited to attend a Social Security Town Hall hosted by
Congresswoman Shontel Brown of Ohio's 11th Congressional District on Friday,
April 25th at the Benjamin Rose Conference Center in Cleveland. We are
honored to be joined by special guest Martin O'Malley, former Commissioner
of the Social Security Administration under President Biden.

We encourage you to share the attached flyer with your constituents.

Social Security Town Hall
Friday, April 25, 2025 | 1:00 - 2:00 PM
Benjamin Rose Conference Center
11890 Fairhill Road, Cleveland, OH 44120

This event will be an opportunity to hear directly from leaders about the
state of Social Security, the challenges facing the program, and the steps
Congress is taking to protect and strengthen it for current and future
generations.

Why This Matters:

More than 149,000 people in Ohio's 11th District rely on Social Security.
Threats to the program-including proposed staffing cuts, field office
closures, and cybersecurity risks-jeopardize the benefits and services that
so many of our seniors depend on. As former Commissioner O'Malley recently
warned, the system is under serious strain and urgent action is needed.

Congresswoman Brown is committed to preserving Social Security as the earned
benefit it is. She proudly supported the Social Security Fairness Act, which
was signed into law in January 2025, and is now a co-sponsor of the Social
Security 2100 Act to expand and strengthen benefits.

The National Federation of the Blind advances the lives of its members and
all blind people in the United States. We know that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. Our collective power, determination,
and diversity achieve the aspirations of all blind people.
