[Ohio-Communities-of-Faith] Reminder: Ohio Communities of Faith Monthly Meeting, Tuesday, June 24, 7:00 to 8:00, Pam Allen, Director, Louisiana Center for the Blind

Hello all.

The Ohio communities of faith division will hold its next monthly meeting on Tuesday, June 24 from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M. in the Ohio Affiliate Zoom Room.

This month, we are privileged to have Pam Allen, Executive Director at The Louisiana Center for the Blind, as our guest speaker. Pam, a lector at her Catholic Parish, will be discussing techniques for identifying, locating, and receiving Holy Communion as a Catholic, based on the structured discovery techniques taught at the Center. She will also be talking about ways in which Blind people can perform vital functions of the Mass, such as Lector, Server, and Eucharistic Minister.

Though this presentation is geared toward Roman Catholicism, we believe members of other faiths can benefit from this as well, as it touches on access issues and specific travel techniques  and strategies pertinent to all faiths.

Please join us for praise and prayer, being blessed to have the opportunity to share one another's faith journey with understanding and respect through kindness and love as we continue to learn and grow in 2025.
