The National Federation of the Blind National Convention is the largest
gathering of blind people in the world.
It is the premier event for training, support, and information for the blind
community. It also serves as a governing body, democratically electing our
leadership and establishing each year's organizational priorities

July 8 to July 13,
New Orleans Marriott 555 Canal Street, New Orleans, Louisiana, 70130.
The last day to make a reservation in the convention hotel with a discounted
rate is May 31, 2025. Currently, there are no rooms at the New Orleans
Marriott. If you plan to attend and have not booked your room, please do so
as soon as possible. The overflow hotel is the Sheraton New Orleans, and you
can reserve a room there by calling 855-516-1090.
The nightly rate for both hotels is $119 for singles and doubles. Triples
and quads can be booked for $129 per night. In addition, the combined sales
tax and tourism support rate is 16.2 percent and there is a hotel occupancy
fee of $3.00 per night. If a reservation is cancelled before Sunday, June 1,
2025, half of the deposit will be refunded. Refunds will not be issued for
cancellations made beyond that date.

NFB 25 Virtual Experience
We are excited to offer opportunities for engagement and connection to
participants who are unable to attend the convention in-person. The Virtual

Convention Ally Network
The Convention Ally Network connects individuals who fear discrimination
during travel with supportive allies. We are seeking allies who are
knowledgeable, respectful of diverse identities, and are willing to affirm
their right to independent travel. You may sign up as a volunteer acting as
an ally or a community member requesting support through the Convention Ally

Support Service Provider
To enhance the National Convention for DeafBlind attendees, we are seeking
Support Service Providers (SSP) to volunteer their time. SSPs facilitate
communication between DeafBlind attendees and others and provide access to
environmental information. To apply as a Support Service Provider, please

are curve to curve. Make sure if someone is riding with you to provide that
info as well. Only three people can ride at one time, that includes you.
