Hi,
I am glad I was able to help Dawn at the Convention. I am also
hapy to be her braille teacher.
Isn't that what it's all about, helping and supporting each
other?
When we help and support each other we are truly a family.
That doesn't mean we permit poor behavior or that we let
irresonsible behavior go unchallenged.
It was just so wonderful being at the Convention even if it was
for a short time.
I really can't tell you how wonderful it was.
It was distressing to see so many people just staying away from
sessions. Cryast, I'm glad that we had a lot of people in the
delegation, but we should have had every chair filled.
I know that's a dream but I just can't understand why people
would not go to sessions to learn everything they could.
Besides, this is where you link up with others.
I am sorry I did not get to go see some people I know in other
delegations but there just wasn't time.
I am thinking about Dallas but for me that would require a
wheelchair.
Let's remember to help each other and learn from each other.
Have a great day!
Congratulations to Dawn and her family for the Candy Sales.
