Can't we do better than just 4 of our people?
I'm asking you to get aggressive this week and the next time this comes out I'd like to see some more of our representatives on this list please?
We can do it, right?

Fellow Federationists:
I am writing to update you on our efforts to gain cosponsor support for the Pedestrian Safety Enhancement Act of 2009 (H.R. 734 and S. 841) in both the House of Representatives and the Senate. H.R. 734 currently has 130 cosponsors, and S. 841 has 9 cosponsors.
I have listed all cosponsors below by state. We only have one week left to work on this issue before Congress adjourns for the August recess. I am asking you to make calls next week, July 26-31, to your senators and representatives to urge them to join as a cosponsor of this important legislation.
-- Senators can be added to S. 841 by contacting Doug Frost in Senator Kerry's office; and
-- Representatives can be added to H.R. 734 by contacting either Emily Khoury in Congressman Towns's office, or James Thomas in Congressman Stearns's office.
You may be connected to your members of Congress by calling the Capitol switchboard at (202) 225-3121.
We must continue to build on the progress that we have already made on this issue (thank you) by working hard next week to add new cosponsors on this legislation.
Also, please contact me with any questions; my contact information is listed below.
Sincerely,
Jesse M. Hartle
