Good Afternoon Affiliate Presidents:

Although I had an opportunity to briefly share information with you on Sunday morning about exhibiting at our National Convention, July 3-8, 2009, I am sending this e-mail so that you can pass it on to others in your affiliate who may be completing the affiliate exhibitor application.  Please bear in mind that we cannot accept exhibitor applications from chapters, only affiliates.  If you designate someone from a chapter to complete an application on behalf of your affiliate, please let me know that they are doing this with your authority.

Dr. Maurer's open letter provides an overview of the other documents available, which will answer questions about sponsorships, sponsored events, exhibit operating hours, costs related to exhibiting and electric service, access to Internet, details about the hotel, and related information.   Please do not hesitate to share information about our convention with potential exhibitors and sponsors.

You are encouraged to read through all of the information provided in one of two formats, either Word document or PDF, which are located on our Web site at http://www.nfb.org/nfb/National_Convention.asp .  This same information can be located on the CD that Karen Zakhnini created on behalf of the Institute.

Affiliate exhibitors should be aware that there is no charge for an affiliate to obtain one table space in the hall.  We must receive a completed application electronically or in hard copy.  All applications are due no later than Friday, May 29.  Exhibitor applications received after May 29 may or may not be accepted based on space availability.

The 3rd annual March for Independence will be held on Monday, July 6.   Corporate sponsor information is available by going to the following link: http://www.marchforindependence.org/site/PageServer.
