Hello All:

 

Dr. Maurer has asked us to reach out to star affiliates for some immediate assistance with the March for Independence.  We really need your help now to call, cheerlead, and support current participants in the March.  We are calling from Colorado, we are calling from the National Center, and we need you to call as well.

 

There are over 600 folks that need to be called.  We are asking a few star affiliates to take responsibility of 100-200 calls.  We will send each call team a list of names and phone numbers, as well as a script for the call.  

 

In a nutshell, you will simply be asking how the participant is doing, if they need any assistance, or if there is anything we can do at all to help them in their fund raising effort.  That's it!  Very simple!  

 

You will be calling to encourage your colleagues.   This can be a great after chapter event.  Have pizza, bring cookies, and most importantly have fun.  

 

The information that you collect can be forwarded to Kristi Bowman at the National Center via kbowman at nfb.org or by calling (410) 659-9314, ext. 2408.

 

Please let me know if you would be willing to organize a call center for this project.
