[Ohio-talk] Springfield Is Back

I am so pleased to telll you all that we  have a chapter in Springfield once again.

On Saturday October 24th, due to the efforts of Susan Day, Richard Payne and Debbie Baker, we had a very productive meeting.

The new officers are President Debbie Baker, Vice President Shaun Dodson, secretary Macy McClain, treasurer Gail Cowan and Board member Robert Merkle.

I want you too join me in wishing them great success in their efforts to make life better for blind people in the Springfield area and I might add, that President Baker seemed right at home conducting the meeting after being elected!

It is my hope that we will be able to present the charter for this chapter at our annual banquet this year.

It has been a very productive year for our membership efforts so hats off to the membership Committee and its chair Richard Payne.
