Richard,

Thank you so much for your help. Below is the description of the study I am
conducting. Because some of the tasks are on a banking website,
participants should be over 18 years old but there is no upper age limit. I
have my school email listed but it dumps into this gmail account so either
is fine. Thanks again, Carissa

Carissa Brunsman-Johnson is conducting a study to determine if a screen
reader assistant can improve information searching on the web for her
dissertation entitled "Adaptive User Interfaces to Support Web-based
Information Seeking for Users who are Blind." The experiment will use a
screen reader that is similar to JAWS called NVDA and Mozilla as an Internet
browser. Carissa is looking for people who are blind that are interested in
learning the new screen reader and participating in 2 sessions in which they
will conduct webpage tasks using this screen reader. The NVDA screen
reader is very similar to JAWS and has been changed to be even more so. It
will be ready to give to participants in the next week and then the study
should begin in September. The participants for this study should be very
good with navigating webpages using JAWS and comfortable with learning a new
screen reader. The participants will be paid a $20/hour wage for the study
sessions but not for the initial familiarizing with the NVDA screen reader.

If you are interested in participating in this study or would like more
information, please contact Carissa Brunsman-Johnson at
