Yes, Carol, I do agree with you. I have some friends that live in Dallas
and every thing is large there. Takes a long time to sometimes get from
one place to another Depending where you live, it can take 2 hrs. just to
go shopping and that is travel distance.

Barbara,
We were tossing around the idea of driving, but perhaps not feasible. I
know last time it was nice to be able to do one store run for persons and
the take out meals we did to help conserve money, but we have to weigh both
the pros and cons on the issue and decide if it is worth it. Plus, figure
out who from Ohio would be interested in riding versus flying and the cost
comparision. It is all about using money wisely, and it gets difficult when
it is limited.

This is just a reminder to those who are interested in the convention
assistance file that we have been talking about that you should disregard
the information about the cost of parking in Detroit. I doubt that anyone is
considering driving to Dallas, but, if you do need to know parking costs
there, check the hotel Website. Also, for your information, banquet tickets
are $40 this year when preordered. They will be $45 at convention.
The good news is that it will be summer, and all this dreadful snow will be
a distant memory.
