FYI:

In support of the valuable work of National Industries for the Blind
(NIB), The Seeing Eye would like to share the following announcement
regarding NIB's Fellowship for Leadership Development. This paid
fellowship provides intensive on-the-job training and valuable
management experience for people who are blind or visually impaired.

Unemployment and under-employment are significant issues for people with
visual impairments. The mission of NIB is "to enhance the opportunities
for economic and personal independence of persons who are blind,
primarily through creating, sustaining and improving employment."

Seeing Eye President & CEO Jim Kutsch serves as chairman of the board
for NIB and has personally observed the breadth and quality of the NIB
programs.

You will find details about the program in the following announcement
from NIB, as well as a link where you can go for additional information
and an online application.

***
Applications for the Fellowship at National Industries for the Blind are
now being accepted.

The Fellowship for Leadership Development, sponsored by National
Industries for the Blind (NIB), is a salaried, two-year program that
combines business-focused, on-the-job experience with formal management
training. Legally blind individuals who have an undergraduate degree,
work experience and passion for business are invited to apply. Fellows
are selected based on academic achievement, experience, motivation,
references, and personal interviews. Fellows who completed the program
have moved to management jobs, gaining financial independence and, as
business leaders, have added value at all levels of the workplace and
society.

Go to the NIB Website at www.nib.org and look under the Business Leaders
Program section to learn more about the NIB Fellowship.

The application deadline is April 15, 2010. If you have questions,
contact Sandy Finley, NIB Business Leaders Program, at
fellowship at nib.org or 703.310.0506.
