Virginia went to the hospital yesterday; she had a slight heart attack, and her toe is infected--the same one she's been having trouble with.  She hopes to get out tomorrow, but of course that's not certain.

Pete fell in the snow Monday on his way to pick Virginia up from dialysis and broke his ankle.  He's wearing a boot and "hobbling around", as he put it, on crutches.  The swelling is going down and he's not in much pain except at night.
