Subject: RSC Data Preview: Feb 3 at 1:00 pm

Dear valuable partners and sponsors:

Please join us on February 3rd from 1-3:30 p.m. for a preview of the data that RSC will be sharing during RSC's 12 regional café conversations in the first three weeks of March. The presentations will include information from the RSC needs assessment, the Governor's Disability Employment Survey results, Census data, RSC service trends as well as regional-specific data sources, such as the Appalachian Regional Commission.

We are looking for your valuable feedback and comments so we can finalize the presentation before we take it out to Ohio communities. Please contact Brenda Rhodes at brenda.rhodes at rsc.state.oh.us or 614. 438-1475 if you require special accommodations for the February 3rd meeting. We are delighted that the members of the Ohio Olmstead Taskforce will also be joining us in Columbus for the preview. We will also make the presentation available to RSC Consumer Advisory Council members and Governor's Council members at the following RSC video conference locations:

Lakewood
Youngstown
Toledo
Cincinnati--Centennial
Athens

Please see the invitation message below that will be sent out as soon as we have the facilities confirmed in each of the 12 cities. We welcome your input in regard to good locations that are free or low cost and can accommodate 150-200 people participating in small round table discussions. The room would also need to be spacious enough to allow participants in wheel chairs to move from one table to another easily.

New Rehabilitation Services Commission Administrator Michael Rench is embarking on a 12 city road trip to engage community members in intimate café conversations.

Every voice will be heard! Individuals will rotate through various small group discussions with fellow citizens and community leaders sharing what matters most to them. Comments will be compiled to shape future state services such as employment, vocational rehabilitation, transition youth, and independent living.

Don't miss this opportunity to shape the future.
