Dear Friends,

 

This afternoon Deb Mann called to tell me that Virginia slipped away
yesterday. She had had a bad reaction to a test, and she fell asleep and did
not wake. They do not have much information at this point, but Deb will let
me know when the funeral is and where as soon as they have settled matters.
Virginia was deeply determined to live life to the fullest and to make life
better for others as long as she could make a difference. She made that
difference in my life, and I know she had a cheering effect on may others as
well. I know you join me in rejoicing that Virginia is now free of a body
that was holding her back and that you share with me deep concern and
sympathy for Pete and Deb. Pete broke his ankle in a fall on the ice going
to pick Virginia up two weeks ago. Please keep all of the Manns in your
prayers.
