My Brothers and Sisters, attached you will find a copy of an article that I
wrote in 1995.

I was fortunate to have it published in the Braille Monitor and I share it
with you for 2 reasons.

First, it discusses my grandfather who is one of my heroes and I shall never
forget him and all that he taught me. He also Marched and worked with Dr.
Martin Luther king both in Memphis and chicago and although they ar both
gone now they will always live in my heart and through my actions.

Second, the tone and focus seem right for encouraging positive decision
making as we start this new year and given what has recently happened in
Haiti, we should all be concerned about making each day and act really
matter and thinking about ways to make the most positieve contributions we
can to as many people that we can.

I hope you enjoy it and find some inspiration in it!
