Hi Richard,
Some Insignia are really out there.
I think Insignia should be worn, something obvious.
A pin, Bracelet Charm, Necklace Medallion or ring come to mind.
I suppose you could have other things but personally I think they should be additional.
We never bought Insignia for people in our previous Chapser.
We did have some personal gifts given by old members to new members.
I think it is nice if a Chapter has money to gift new members with the Insignia.
If not, these things are not that expensive.
Personally I think a Bracelet Charm or Medallion are nice. I think some guys also like a Tie TacddI do think Bags, shirts and rubber bracelets are a little stretch.
They are nice but maybe not quite as obvious.
I hope this is food for thought.
