[Ohio-talk] update

Hi everyone!!

I have an update for you, since this list has been very quiet for the past few days.

First, I wanted to let you all know that I again won third place, along with another person, in a competition called the Very Special Arts (VSA) of Ohio. I will be performing Thursday, May 12 at 6:00 PM. I believe I'm performing at the Vern Riffe Center in Columbus. Will check on that.

First and foremost, I really want to thank my parents for buying me a flute that surpasses all of my expectations, can play anything, and doesn't have to be manipulated with the fingers. It's really awesome to be able to call Miyazawa my brand of professional flute. (Sorry Dad, I didn't mean to break the bank). That's what you get for being accountants haha. I love my Miyazawa!

I'm glad I have a repair technician who knows how to fix my flute- I've been to several who've just looked at me like, "I can't fix this... what should I do? Thank you- Miles Davis, for doing emmergency work on my flute- you're amazing!! He's based in Louisville Kentucky and he is an exclusive Miyazawa dealer (also a Straubinger pad certified technician, that's what my flute uses). Anyways, I'll stop rambling (I'm sooooo glad my flute's back, I HATE student model flutes!).
