The waiting game is over.  
Elijah Thomas Kendrick Ulbrich was born at 6:45 a.m., yesterday, January 8.  He weighs 7 pounds, is 20 inches tall, and is, of course, adorable.  
If you read Melinda's Facebook page, you see a zillion pictures, but this is the only one Kyle has forwarded me so far, so I share it.  
It was a wonderful experience being in the labor room with my daughter, and they have produced a beautiful child!  I'll be here another week or so after she gets home helping (and holding Eli as much as the proud parents will allow!)
Just wanted to share my good news.
