[Ohio-talk] Dayton informational meeting

Dayton had an informational meeting this past Saturday. Karen Warner sent
out several flyers in this area and we  got a lot of positive response. I
was very happy with those from my chapter that came  to work and get the
information I found out several things from those who talked about there
different companies. There was one company that loans ipods. . This is a
very easy thing for chapters to do and I encourage all chapters to consider
it. I met some blind people who I have met over the years but there were
several that I never met before. Mary Smith a member  who died years ago had
a daughter to attend      and is loosing her vision.   . I wish there was
some magic words to tell you the feeling I get when we reach out to others.
We will take the contacts that we got and invite them to our local meetings
but include them in the efforts to get more people to the state convention.
I know the national is at our feet. Let's get ready to run to the state stay
tuned. Richard
