an annual publication - DiversAbility Ohio. The book will be filled
with stories and profiles of professionals with disabilities working
in education, STEM careers, creative arts, corporate America,
government, law, non-profit and as entrepreneurs. This publication
will raise the profile of people with disabilities in society and
educate the readers on the talent and wealth of knowledge that exists
within the population. DiversAbility Ohio will include profiles
professionals and rising college students with disabilities
representing various industries and colleges across the state.  There
will be special sections, such as: Trailblazer Spotlight, Profiles
Plus, Generation Next, and a Resource Guide.  This company will grow
each year by expanding to additional states.

A qualified candidate must have excellent communication and writing
skills.  Pursing or have obtained a degree in Public Relations,
Communications, Journalism, or English. Experience conducting
interviews in-person or via telephone is a must. Understanding Person
First Language when writing about people with disabilities is
encouraged (training will be provided).  A successful candidate will
possess a passion to promote the talents and accomplishments of people

Responsibilities

. Interview the selected individuals who will be featured in the
publication, face-to-face or via telephone

. Write a 200 word feature story highlighting their background and
accomplishments

. Submit the story to the editor by stated deadline

to get articles published and promote the accomplishments of an
untapped but extremely accomplished population
