Good Morning to all.  Hope everyone had an enjoyable Easter weekend.
The Scrip order for April was placed.  There were 10, yes only 10 persons ordering.  Between these 10 people, 50 gift cards were purchased. from 25 retailers.  Those retailers included; Red Lobster, Steak and Shake, Wendys, Subway, Little Caesars, Dunkin Donuts, Giant Eagle, Walmart, Meijer, Toys R Us, Office Max, Lowes, Family Video, Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Bath and Body, and others.  If this is the number of cards ordered from only 10 people--just think of what that number could be if the rest of you would sign up AND order!  What a profit we could make!  There is a core group of persons who faithfully support this program to help our affiliate.  The core group consists of about  SEVEN people.  It is great we were able to have 3  additional people  for this order. Remember, this is an example of an ongoing, method of fundraising.  It is continuous, not just an occasional event.  It would be fantastic if we could create the strong
interest in our members, friends and family  to help fund our affiliate through this program.  The more we order, the more we make, according to the percentage paid by each retailer.  Mother's Day will be coming up next month.  We all need to think of how we can use this program to fund our Mother's Day gifts and meals, along with our regular monthly purchases.
Many thanks to our regular participants- Barbara Pierce, Barb Fohl, Sheri Ruth, Shelbi, Crystal, Eric Duffy, myself and our newer participants- Debbie Baker, Lisa Hall and Angie Clark.  Your support is greatly appreciated.  IF you did not see your name above, then you know what needs to be done.  Get signed up, place those orders and help us consistently generate funds to build our Treasury for our own benefit.
Thank you.
Carol
PS.  Don't be offended by the listing of names, sometimes we need a little motivation, and a little show of appreciation.
