Hi Cindy,

You correctly detected that my name was missing from the list of
graduating students; I opted for something known as “end-of-semester”
graduation. What this means that one gets until the start of the next
semester to submit the main document as well as push back several
other administrative deadlines, one of which in my case is the USCIS
deadline.

OSU is offering me a temporary position, and it requires some time to
complete the paperwork. This push back by few days gives a breather to
me and to OSU file the necessary documentation for that position.
Decision to graduate turned out to be a far more complex process and
threw up many more questions than I was prepared to handle, which one
never anticipates as a fulltime student.
