This Saturday December 8th. The Miami valley chapter had our
first jazz explosion. I got several calls about this event asking just how
it promotes the nfb. There are so many ways of doing just that. We had a
couple that attended there first convention this year. The first thing that
came to my mind is that blind people can play and work beside the sighted
world. We raised money and demonstrated that the nfb can put on large
fundraisers and at the same time had a lot of fun. The people who attended
saw members working hard and promoting this event.

Ken one of our new members and his band was outstanding. Dr. Smith
boosted the crowd like only he can. Wanda also song a couple numbers.

We had free pizza, chicken and chips. This event was great. Did I say great?
