Subject: [NFBAffiliatePresidents] State Voting Model Legislation for
Accessible Voting Machines
The following is from Helen Stevens, NFB Government Programs Specialist
Dear State Presidents,
I'm gathering information on state voting regulations to draft model
legislation requiring the use of accessible voting machines in state and
local elections. Are there any states that have legislation of this nature
at present, and have there been any attempts so far to get such legislation
passed? Any information on this topic would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much.
