Thank you Colleen,
Does anyone know this man?
He also posted this request to the parents email. I checked the link out. The clock is nice, however, he tells me he is marketing for blind & VI children, all over the world. He is asking fir donations preferably , $50 to $500+!to enable him to get these clocks out to all blind & VI kids, especially at schools for the blind. The clock itself has the L E D display, it can announce the time, alarm with pre recorded reminders, appointments or a wake up message among other features. It is called italk. I did find the clock online from a variety of sellers/distributors from $42 to $59. Although the technology is nice, I don' t see the urgency of getting one in the hands of all the children, as he puts it. He states that there are only a limited number available & likely won't be more produced. But if Maxi Aids & others are also marketing them, I am not so sure about this being fact & not so comfortable with his solicitation for funds. I will not be inclined to respond to him or to pass it any further.
Carol' s synopsis!
