Hi J.W. and everyone,

Some of you may know this but I was reelected as President of National
Association of Blind Office Professionals (NABOP) a position I held since
1996. Next year in Orlando, our division is planning a hands-on seminar
experience in Braille proofreading so that prospective transcribers and
proofreaders can get a feel what it will be like if they decide to take the
Braille Transcribing and Proofreading course in the future. Over the last
few years since 2007 under the leadership of Jennifer Dunnam, Manager of the
Braille Transcribing and Proofreading Programs, under contract with the
National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped, Library
of Congress, several hundred people have taken the courses being offered.
This seminar will be held later in the convention week. More information
will be available at a later date.

While I was on vacation in Texas and Louisiana, I had a chance to see my
sister's first grandbaby who was born on May 31, 2012 in McKenny, Texas. He
is so lovable. In addition, I saw my brother's twin boys which is his
grandchildren that was born on March 11, 2008 and they are four years old.
They both start all day prekindergarten in the fall all day. These are
exciting times. I also found out that my other nephew is expecting a baby
somewhere in March 2013. A date have not been set and we don't know whether
it's a boy or girl yet. Oh, how I wish I was closer to them. Oh, well,
that's the facts of life. I have to keep working while my brother and sister
enjoy their retirement years since they are much older than me. My sister
and brother are both diabetic and are having challenging times.

Sincerely,

Lisa Hall

It might be the father in me or mor likely because you all mean so much to
me that I just wanted to see how everybody was doing these days during this
long hot summer?

With all of the power outages down here and the depressing news from
Colarado, I just wanted too make sure that you were all doing as well as you
can be at this time and if not let us know so that we can know how to pray
for you and send you the most positive thoughts and vibrations possible as a
family.

Any good news out their and any great news?

I started a new administrative position this week and it is wonderful to see
how helpful one can be to people when God places you and the right place at
the right time!

My CD is doing well and bringing a lot of joy and hope to those that need it
from such an outlet and God continues to Bless my family and our community
down here in the desert!

Ok, your turn.

Jw
