I just wanted to send this email out as a reminder to the tech event
we are hosting this Tuesday!! A representative from GWMicro, an
innovative pioneer specializing in various technologies, will be
coming to demonstrate the ReatIt wand, a device allowing you to take a
printed page and have it read to you as well as have it magnified up
on your computer screen as well as a multitude of other devices! You
will also be able to get hands-on with the equipment demoed. So come
all to the PC Technology Center in Procter on Tuesday, June 5th at
4:30 PM and prepare to be amazed!! Also, don’t forget about our other
technology events coming back to our usual Tech Thursdays starting on
Thursday, June 14 with Ken Serey with Visual Tech Connections
demonstrating the latest innovations in magnifiers, same time and
place as the ReadIt Demo. On June 21, come and learn about the great
and accessible Android! As usual, you will get time for hands-on
demonstration and you might even wish to go out and buy an android
device that day! Finally, on June 28 our very own Larry Klug will be
giving a demonstration of the iPad3 with its amazing new screen and
the Apple TV while it’s hooked up to our 60” TV in the lab. And don’t
forget about the monthly iOS user group where you can learn all about
iPhones, iPods and iPads being held on Tuesday, June 13 in the Rehab
Teaching Kitchen!!
