Hi Richard, Lisa, & Nimer,
Thank you, Richard. Likewise, Sir. You & JW (and a few
others) have been inspirations from the start, enjoying
conventions like they were a vacation -- and still,
always, getting the business of the convention done. As
far as "seeing the light" goes, well, I've been with my
fiancee for 5 years now. It's about time we get
married, y'know? That, plus the fact that I've dreamt
of Colorado's mountains and outdoor sports for many
years help make it seem logical to make this move.
Lisa, I did not remember you being from Shreveport.
That's where I took my out-of-towner as my final
requirement I needed to fulfill to graduate from the
LCB. Fun place, Shreveport, being a rivertown and all.
Well, we're glad you're in Ohio now, that's for sure.
Thank you, Nimer. Yes, we have Barbara Pierce and some
others whom I've been blessed by over the years, here
in Ohio -- and I shall miss them. Colorado should be
interesting, too. The Worleys are part of the Colorado
Springs chapter, indeed. There's Mr. LaBarre in Denver,
too. Ther's also great leadership through someone whom
I've enjoyed at conventions over the years: Diane
McGeorge. Not to mention the CCB will now be in my
backyard. One tiny new dream I've got is to become one
of the AT Instructors at the CCB. We'll see, right?
Wherever God wants me, that's where I'll end up I'm
sure. No worries either way. ;-)
Strive On!
Everett

I wish you the best. You are a very good person. The
times that we have had
to work together has been very good. I guess you
finally saw the lite.

Congratulations on your next move.
I can remember you when I talked to you about attending
Louisiana Center for
the Blind.
That's been a long time ago.
Boy time flies.
I have been in Cincinnati, Ohio for over 5-1/2 years.
By the time the
convention adjourns 3 days after that, on July 8, 2012,
I would have
completed six years living in Ohio.
As some of you know, I am originally from Shreveport,
Louisiana and lived
there for 32 years, lived in San Antonio, Texas for 11
years.

Colorado is a beautiful state and has a very powerful
NFB presence
with Scott LaBarre and with Mr. and Mrs. Worley as well
as Nijat
Worley all being in Colorado Springs. No wait, actually
Scott is in
Denver I think. Anyway, enjoy your time and if you need
any help
during your transition, please let me know.
