Disability Jobs Summit  Connecting & Building Partnerships - This is not a job fair; it's about making jobs fair.

RSC is hosting a DisAbility Jobs Summit  for consumers with disabilities and their families, employers, partners and direct care providers.



For Consumers: Mock Interview Labs; Resume Writing Labs; Dress for Success; Empowerment for Self Advocacy; E-mail Etiquette/Social Media; What Employers Look for when Hiring; How to Keep Your Benefits while You Work; Personal Care Attendant Programs; and Yes, You Can Work and Be Successful.



For Service Providers: Assistive Technology; Recession Proof Jobs; Role Recovery Overview; College and Career Options for Students with Intellectual Disabilities; Practical Supports for Individuals with Autism in the Workplace; Career Exploration and Job Hunting Made Easy;  Past, Present, Future of Work Incentives and Benefits Planning; 12 Quick Questions about Social Security Disability; and Money Follows the Person Initiative to Promote Choice and Independence.



For Employers: Section 503 Regulations; Wall Street/Main Street - On the Intersection of Disability; Ohio's Workforce Development Strategy includes All Ohioans; and Return on Disability.



There will be a Leadership Panel discussion on agency employment initiatives aimed to enhance services and increase employability of Ohioans with disabilities who are unemployed and underemployed. Panel participants may include the Departments of Job and Family Services, Education, Development, Health Transformation, and Developmental Disabilities, as well as JobsOhio, the Governor's Office of Workforce Transformation, and the Rehabilitation Services Commission.
