[Ohio-talk] Voting

Hi, Colleen,

When I vote on election day, it always seems to be a different combination of kindly senior citizens, and they always have to learn how to set the thing up. It's not just me: they have to look up anything out of the ordinary, but they are steady as rocks: faithfully there every year doing their part.
Gotta love it! Democracy is messy.

Peace,
Sheri

Hi Sheri,
I am glad you were able to vote early. It does help that you live in BG.
I am happy to say that now that we have had the machines for a while the people where I vote know exactly how to set up the machine.
It's so nice and I just sit on a chair or use my wheelchair to do it. I can't stand that long especially with lf propositions.

You might want to bring a sandwich! If I had been in the line on lection day, I would definitely have been taking three or four times as long as anyone else... that's not, of course, a reason to require that you vote early, but I figured going today would clear out some space in November for other people who might be in a hurry. The added benefit was that I was given instructions by someone who knew how to set up the machine for me as opposed to the wel-intentioned election volunteers who often have to hold up the line to make several phone calls before I can vote.
