[Ohio-talk] A Big Disappointment

Sheri,
As your very proud teacher, I can assert that you would have succeeded and
sparkled had you begun classes when originally planned. I also know that
your success will be even greater and the road to it much easier with the
additional time to become even more of a wizzard with your rapidly soaring
braille and technology skills!
You are destined to win this race either way, but with more time to get
ready, you'll probably run the course without breaking a sweat! <smiles>
Deborah

Thank you Colleen,
You are right. If nothing else, I will be that much more proficient with my
Braille and my noretaker when I do walk into that classroom!

Hi Sherri,
Don't give up. I admire your determination to start something new. I am sure
you can work something out. Just pray about it and take it one day at a
time.
I am always amazed when these rules come into play.
This is really scary but I have decided to try to learn to use the Computer.
I have been using just My Braille Sense. I had a little training in 2007 but
the person BSVI had come out to work with me before I took a class at Owens
was rather abyssmil. Dudley actually taught me more than she did.
I know you are disappointed but maybe you can get a headstart for next
semester but reading ahead, continuing to study Braille and keeping skills
sharp on the Computer.
You can also continue to practice on the notetaker if you can keep it.
I will keep you in my prayers.
I am sure that all of us in this list will try to think of anything which
will help you to go on from here.
Colleen Roth
